Open Call for Nominations: Dean of the College of Design

Announcement: Search for Candidates for Dean of the College of Design, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (Taiwan Tech)

In accordance with the Regulations for the Selection, Reappointment, and Dismissal of the Dean of the College of Design, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (hereinafter referred to as the College), candidates for the Dean of the College are publicly sought starting today.
The Dean’s term of office is three years, starting February 1, 2027, with eligibility for one reappointment.
Candidate Qualifications
Qualified as a professor at a domestic or international university with expertise in design-related fields.
Candidates are nominated through the following methods
Candidates for Dean may be recommended by individuals or groups, or proactively nominated by the search committee
Recommendation Deadline: September 24, 2026
Those wishing to make a recommendation should submit the recommendation form (supporting materials for the nominee may be attached) via email before 4:00 PM on the deadline day; the recommendation is considered complete only upon receiving a confirmation reply from the College.
Candidate vision presentation and interview date: Tentatively scheduled for November 12, 2026 (any schedule changes will be notified separately)
