Research Grant: System Safety Association of Building Envelope in Taiwan

Dear students and faculty,

This is to announce the research grant that supported by the System Safety Association of Building Envelope in Taiwan is available for application this coming Spring 2023 semester. Graduate students who are interested in applying for the research grant should obtain the consent of their advisors and submit a research proposal before the application deadline on February 20, 2023. For the proposal, please follow the instructions of the advisors in the format and content, or refer to the standard journal article format to explain the research topic. Research background, objectives, methods, expected contributions, references, etc. should include.

The research topic shall cover at least one of the typical façade/curtain wall performance test items but not limited to fire protection, thermal insulation, wind pressure, water penetration, air permeability, acoustics, ventilation, and daylighting. The studied types of buildings can include industrial general buildings, industrial-logistics centers, technology factories, factories, offices, commercial buildings, shopping malls, department stores, offices, residential-low rise, residential-high rise, schools, hospitals, and other public works.

The recipient of the research grant will be awarded 12,000 TWD monthly. Students interested in learning more about this research grant can attend a briefing session at RB809A on Thursday, 12/22, at 5 pm.
