“Milan Design Week” Exchange Application Now Open

To broaden our students’ international perspectives and enhance opportunities to connect with global design trends, the department has specially planned this “Milan Design Week Exchange and Study Visit Program.” Selected students will represent the department in Italy, participating in one of the world’s most influential design events, and engaging in in-depth exchanges with leading local universities and Taiwanese businesses.

This visit offers substantial financial support, with a limited number of seats available. Eligible students with strong language skills are encouraged to apply.

Please find attached the “Application Form for the Department of Architecture Milan Design Week Overseas Study and Exchange Subsidy.” Interested students are advised to carefully review the guidelines and begin preparations early. If you have any questions, please contact the department office.

Please take note: during the Lunar New Year holiday from February 12 (Thursday) to February 22 (Sunday), administrative services will be suspended.

Application Guidelines and Eligibility (Please Read Carefully)

  1. Purpose of the Subsidy:
    • To support students’ participation in Milan Design Week activities and related coursework, fostering international exchange experience and global perspectives among department students.
  2. Eligibility:
    • Currently enrolled students in the department who hold nationality (including undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students)
    • Priority Consideration:Students who have taken courses, outstanding academic performance, or high English proficiency exam score
  3. Exchange Program Details:
    • Number of participants: 8
    • Dates: April 19 to April 26, 2026 (participants must enter and exit the country as a group)
    • Program content: Participation in Milan Design Week–related activities, exchanges with Taiwanese businesses, and courses or lectures at Politecnico di Milano
  4. Subsidy Coverage:
    • Round-trip airfare and overseas living expenses (approximately NTD 70,000–90,000 per person)
  5. Application Deadline:
    • Please submit the completed application form and all required attachments to the department office by February 24, 2026.
