We are exposed to noise from machines, loudspeakers, or restaurants in our everyday live. Loud noise can create physical and psychological stress, reduce productivity, and interfere with communication and concentration. The research question is, how can we combine the viewpoints of architecture, acoustics, and art to improve the acoustics of a space by smart geometric design. Prof. Milena Stavric and Dr. Jamilla Balint will present interdisciplinary projects in the field of architecture and acoustics from successful collaborations in the past.
