Project Name:Bridge Over Troubled Water

Link:https://www.behance.net/gallery/76994401/Bridge-Over-Troubled-Water

About:Parti derives from understandings that are nonlandscapture and must be cultivated before landscape form can be born. We think about the relationship between the past and the future, then we find a bridge which can be a hint to experiential and aesthetic sensibility. So, we draw a soft line on “Shezidao” landscape and building volume, to create a unique parti solving the serious flooding problem of nature and economic issue of residents. We use “ denial and reward ”to enrich passage through the built environment. First, we tend to be concerned with landscape physical things in and of themselves. Then, we focus on the human interface with physical things. Next time, you will see a brand new landscape when crossing the “Shezi Bridge”from Taipei City.

Project Name:sun patio

Awarded:Finalist

About:

The right to enjoy sunshine is a basic human right enacted by the United Nations. Since the cancellation of Street Shadow Act in 1987, the inaccessibility of light has increased the shadow area of buildings with the increase of population and the floor height, which has made the low-level residents in Hong Kong live in darkness for many years. In a such high cost land as Hong Kong, the open space and the ecological green land are compressed and reduced year by year. The narrow living space and closed visual landscape make residents lose their most basic living needs.

Project Name:Tower of Gene Storage | 2100 of Singapore

Link:https://www.behance.net/gallery/76996163/Tower-of-GeneStorage-2100-Singapore

About:

Instead of sculpting the tower by imitating gene form, we focus on a new material made by plasma, which solve big data saving through a developing steel pipe. According to this new material, we’d like to create a mutual interaction between citizen and a integrated service system of tower. People can upload their data directly towards the tower as a cloud. If the data reaches a certain amount of upload, the gene tower will change colour at any time. This tower is a space created with twisted threads set up in multiple directions in a steel frame. It expresses mutual behavior between human beings and virtual technology. Storing gene as a static activity, saving big data is as a dynamic activity. This interaction provides an ambient experience like a cosmic dance.

Project Name:Easy-Pull Barrier

Awarded:Finalist

About:

We found that the existing New Jersey barriers are widely used, but they are not environmentally friendly to manufacture and maintain. In addition, it takes a lot of time and manpower to set up. This Easy-Pull Barrier is designed for road maintenance or accidents. Not only does it build quickly, but it also saves a lot of manpower, it only takes 1 or 2 people to operate. And you can save a lot of New Jersey’s guardrail usage, like an Easy-Pull Barrier can replace twelve traditional New Jersey guardrails.

Project Name:Tactile of Sense Liven

Link:https://vimeo.com/302558705

About:

Tactile of Sense Liven is a joyful blending of sense and experience; Tactile of Sense Liven is not just about designing furniture and home décor, but a service process as well. Instead of making and distributing mass produced products, we invite users to learn manufacturing process of furniture and experience with their own hands. In response to the DIY culture of contemporary society, we create an open source sequential design to invite users to participate in the design and manufacturing process freely, creating an emotional connection between the creator and creation. The elasticity, flexibility and durability of leather enables it to carry the weight of the human body while being able to be shaped freely. Breakthroughs in leather testing eliminates processing and leftover materials, allowing free disassembly of each part to minimize unnecessary part wastage!

Project Name:LIGHT STOMA

About:

The heat waves of the summer of 2017 caused more than 3000 deaths in France alone. Therefore, this is designed to install in all parts of Europe to reduce the risk, regardless of indoor or outdoor. The light sensor sends a computer signal to the device through the outdoor or indoor light analysis. After the cross-analysis, the size of the pore opening is determined so that suitable light will enter and the unnecessary or excessive photometry will be masked to reduce the carbon emission of the air-conditioning. This is designed to achieve the function of both energy saving and carbon reduction.
